The long awaited decision by MINDEF to finally abolish the hellish landscape known as Sungei Gedong has finally been approved and passed in Parliament after 12000 complaints have been made by parents, especially those of armor and technician NSFs, whose sons are posted to the dreaded camp this year.
The camp, known for its seclusion, is so distant from civilisation that it is geographically nearer to Malaysia than Singapore, despite being in Singapore. Coupled with its dusty environment and pungent stench of farm animals, Sungei Gedong is indeed hell on Earth.
Whenever an NSF catches wind of the possibility of him being posted there, he will immediately start saving up his scrawny allowance in preparation for the travel fees needed to travel to and from Sungei Gedong. He also cocks his SAR21, just in case, as a form of immediate exit door to escape from the terrible hand of cards he has been dealt with.
The father of PTE C. S Tan, whose son has unfortunately been already posted to that repugnant swamp of metal for 3 months, commented, "I am glad that the Singapore government has made the right choice for once, Sungei Gedong has been a huge pain in the ass to get to, my family is one of the few lucky ones to actually own a car in Singapore, and even with that, takes me about 2 hours to drive my son to that accursed place. Good job SAF! "

The destruction of Sungei Gedong will commence in 2021, with the usage of 5 F35s and 20 Apache helicopters. With the latter's hellfire along with the bombs from the F35, this will be a display of Singapore's firepower to her neighbors while simultaneously razing Sungei Gedong to the ground, serving as a powerful deterrence. hopefully such a corrupted land will never form in our lifetime, therefore killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

"Despite Sungei Gedong being one of Singapore's more important camps with most of its tanks there combined with the cover provided by the overgrown forest surrounding it, it's destruction will serve as an even more powerful form of deterrence as this sends a message that if we can do this to ourselves, we can do it to others as well. Furthermore the only force in the SAF that actually matters is the air force anyways, who gives a shit about some tanks. " said Lieutenant General Melvyn Ong. "plus way too many parents complained about the location this year, we gotta do something." he added.
A new camp that is expected to replace Sungei Gedong will be built in City Hall after Gedong's demise, in order for faster transportation of NSFs all across Singapore to their new camp.
